When art dresses in silk, painting on silk
We opened in 2012-2013 season Bennassar Dionís Art Gallery with the exhibition "When art dresses in silk" of Dusica, multifaceted artist of Serbian origin who, having lived, worked and exhibited in several European countries, currently resides, works and exhibits in Madrid.
He found his way to express emotions and inspirations in the delicate art of painting on silk. That's three decades since its painted silks inhabit the lives and homes of people with exquisite tastes. Always from the best types of natural white silk (buret, crepe, satin, raw silk, etc.).
Beyond their joy and happiness, is remarkable passion and work spent on each piece, carefully choosing both the tone and texture of silk support as colors that will blow your brushes. The decision to turn them into everyday objects sometimes surprising, because they deserve to be framed and protected as academic painting commands. But Dusica, gives a very natural life these canvases, making cushions, curtains, draperies.
"As physicians make people feel better, my eyes work and bring joy to souls." It tells us.
The exhibition will feature more than one hundred silk decorative objects, operated by Dusica evocatively, applying substantially all its "savoir faire" with brushes and paints on their pampered silks, achieving results and unique original works. Most are cushions, but we can enjoy more pieces, which may kindly become part of everyday life and people wearing unique spaces.
All designs are part of the recent work of the artist, and in Madrid presenting as new and original creations within this sensitive painter. Stresses the quantity and variety of sizes and designs, giving rise to the imagination to create a world personality originally equipped with these artworks outputs Dusica the incredible vision.
